Our brand-new HTML5 / CSS3 website has now launched!

Every once in a while, it helps to take a step back and evaluate the message your brand is sending. Is it dull or engaging? Dated or progressive? Interactive or stale? And how are your marketing materials supporting the message you want to send?

Even for us, finding the time and energy to take on a full branding review was difficult. We knew that it was time for some marked changes to our website. We wanted it to reflect our awareness of new technology, our progressive stance on web design and online marketing, and our attitude toward our clients and work. The more sides we approached the situation from the more it seemed as though a brand redesign would simplify the process. More work? Yup. Worth it? Absolutely.

It’s taken us several months to conceptualize, frame out, and develop the new website, in addition to updating our social media and email marketing. Our primary focus was in improving the user experience while fine-tuning our message, and we took whatever time was necessary to ensure that the new site would accomplish that goal. The new website delivers:

  • A more minimal organizational structure, focusing on our services, body of work, and company information
  • A responsive design, viewing seamlessly across tablets and mobile devices
  • More interactivity through a dynamic visual experience, including animated elements
  • Bold colors and eye-catching design
  • Themed visual identity to help solidify the unique Enve brand within our industry

You might be wondering what the deal is with all the medicine show–themed graphics. A few months ago, Sarah was reading the Studs Turkel book entitled Coming of Age. A pitchman was interviewed, and he described life among the medicine shows back in the early 20th century. The sensationalistic imagery, the characters, and the graphic style served as incredible inspiration for our updated brand. Putting together all the various elements has been a blast!

We encourage you to consider the New Year as a time to take a step back and evaluate your own brand, how it’s presented and how it communicates your business to its intended market. If we can help in any way, don’t hesitate to reach out—for an entire brand redesign or overhauling a little at a time. Or if you’re looking for suggestions on where to start, check out a couple of our past blog posts: Transform Your Small Business into “The Greatest Show on Earth” and 3 BIG Ways to Keep Your Website Fresh.

We’re still ironing out a few things here and there (and our obsession with tweaking should keep the development process spinning a bit longer), so please feel free to let us know if you come upon anything buggy as you play around on the new website.

Happy New Year to you all!
